The Successful Patient book trailer is up, and Ken Cohen's voiceover is terrific! After hearing his Bartleby (yep, the Melville Bartleby), we knew he was the only one who could keep it light enough, and he more than came through.Kudos also to Holly Hill Productions for a fun piece.
You can check out the trailer on the SuccessfulPatient.com website - click the link at the bottom of THE BOOK column to go to the grid where it's located about halfway down above the Table of Contents, and also on Vimeo. Links to both the website and to Vimeo are in the sidebar content.
I'm just finishing the book, and am finding the topic increasingly fascinating, almost like a cliffhanger. What wonderful medical miracle will pop up tomorrow? What political faction will win out for the heart of health care in the U.S.? Which hospital will fail the Leapfrog HealthGrades score?
I did not suspect what I was getting into IN 2016 when a need for skull-base surgery pointed me toward UNCHealth at Chapel Hill and into the expert hands of Drs. Matt Ewend and Kevin Brown. That was the start of my journey into the (to me) great unknown of The Provider Universe. I hope everyone else will be as riveted by today's wonderful world of health care as I am.
